延續裝置繪畫作品「?」,在原有基礎上增加新的繪畫與裝置轉換成為作品「↑」,反映出兩件作品一體兩面的意涵。因為,有時候提出問題,問題也可能是答案本身;然而,箭號作為方位或走向,也是一種思考的歷程。箭頭是指向性符號,但是方向與方位有相對性意義,如果失去必要條件,就無法辨識。這兩件雙生作品即是問題也是方位,相互呼應。
人類的生存發展導致地球生態劇變,人類也面臨存亡齒寒的問題。未來全面建構生化人才是生存之道,還是放棄發展返祖歸真?人類透過自問自答的方式存活於宇宙中,自我繁衍、發展、娛樂、消亡,持續循環,直到熵的來臨。事實上生存發展不應該是線性的發展,更應該是環狀式的循環。
人也是在賦予方向,人生發展才會有意義。或許人的生存並沒有真實的意義?或許僅是種能量粒子的轉變?作品脫離藝術的範疇,創作還存在否?
The continuation of the installation painting work "?" introduces new painting elements and installation, evolving into the piece "↑". This reflects the dual nature of the two works as one entity. Sometimes, posing a question can be the answer itself; meanwhile, the arrow, as a directional symbol, represents a process of thinking. While arrows indicate direction or orientation, the meaning of direction and orientation is relative, and without necessary conditions, they become indistinguishable. These twin works are both questions and orientations, resonating with each other.
Human survival and development have led to dramatic changes in the Earth's ecology, and humanity faces existential threats. Is the future of survival through the comprehensive development of bioengineering talent, or should we abandon progress and return to a more primal state? Humans survive in the universe through self-questioning and answering, perpetuating cycles of reproduction, development, entertainment, and eventual decline until the arrival of entropy. In reality, survival and development should not be viewed as linear progress but rather as a cyclical process.
Humans also assign direction to their lives, giving meaning to their development. Perhaps human existence itself lacks true meaning? Or is it merely a transformation of energy particles? If art is transcended, does creation still exist?
