The core of Taiwanese artist MIROOKO's work centers on hidden and voiceless pain—ranging from social labels to feelings of loneliness. These subtle yet profound voices among the crowd are expressed through a striking visual language that delves deeply into interpersonal relationships and societal structures, which have always been the primary focus of my art.
Influenced by Japan’s Superflat movement, my creative style wraps vivid and colorful visuals around a sense of emotional detachment, striving to strike a balance between appearance and emotion. Over the years, my work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions across Paris, Switzerland, Japan, and beyond. These international experiences have not only broadened my perspective but also deepened my understanding of the connection between art and the world. For me, creating art is a form of silent dialogue and a journey toward understanding both others and myself.
