這件作品的靈感來自到東京的新宿御苑—每次去東京時幾乎都會花半天的時間逛逛，看著廣闊的草原、蒼勁高大的松樹、楓樹、可愛的櫻花樹等，令人心曠神怡，當我經過一排櫻花樹時，由於適逢秋天，儘管多數葉子都已掉落，但每一棵樹的線條和姿態卻都充滿了旺盛的生命力，十分吸引我的注意，因此特別將這美好的印象入畫。創作這幅作品時，畫家特別將油彩調入多一點的油，以便讓畫面看起來更為純淨通透，令人感覺到現場清新冷涼的空氣氛圍。樹幹用了類似國畫的俐落筆法， 快速的用幾筆勾勒出輪廓與體感，表現出樹的強勁生命力。此外，用色方面為了表現秋意，因此草地上使用了較多的暖色調，並且連細小的樹枝也做了明暗的層次表現，在深色背景的襯托下，讓主體更加鮮活有力。
This piece is inspired by Shinjuku Gyoen in Tokyo-every time I go to Tokyo, I almost spend half a day strolling around. Looking at the vast grasslands, vigorous and tall pine trees, maple trees, lovely cherry trees, etc., it is refreshing. When I passed a row of cherry blossom trees, because it was autumn, although most of the leaves had fallen, the lines and postures of each tree were full of vigorous vitality, which attracted my attention very much, so I especially took this beautiful impression into a picture. When creating this work, the painter specially mixed a little more oil to make the picture look more pure and clean. People who watch it will feel the fresh and cool air atmosphere. The trunks are used a neat brushwork similar to traditional Chinese painting, and I quickly outlines the outline and shape with a few strokes to show the strong vitality of the tree. In addition, the color is used to express the autumn mood, so more warm colors are used on the grass, and even the small branches are also expressed in light and dark layers. The dark background makes the subject more vivid and powerful.
