為了紀錄四季變遷,每年我有畫下周圍環境第一支花的習慣. 這幅原畫靈感來自於前些日子我拜訪畫室附近的花園所看見的白色芍藥(牡丹)靜物.
午後陽光自花房的窗外灑落, 大朵的白色的芍藥花靜靜的舒展著花瓣,層層疊疊,如夢似幻. 花緣有些許粉色點綴,猶如畫了紅妝的美人.
牡丹/芍藥一直是我很喜歡的花種. 看似嬌貴, 但在悉心照顧下卻可以存活非常久. 這是我鍾愛它的其中一個原因.不管經過寒冬酷暑或是冰雹, 一旦到了花季, 牡丹總是異常有活力的盛開著.
西方有這個說法-若家中的牡丹叢盛開,當年那戶人家會有豐盛的一年. 所以牡丹相傳也是能為家中帶來好運的象徵.

這幅作品整體感覺恬靜淡雅,花瓣筆觸鮮活，筆觸細膩. 大尺寸原畫完美呈現細節, 適合臥室,客廳, 玄關,大堂等主要位置, 歡迎與這幅原作有緣的藏家收藏.

To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings, during its flowering season. This is my depiction of a gorgeous Peony flower arrangement I encountered during my visit to Dandenong Ranges on a sunny afternoon. Time froze on that magical moment.
Peony is a symbol of prosperity and peace, especially when displayed in full bloom.

Flowers always bloom in their own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.
