搭乘郵輪抵達石垣島的那一天，正是八月艷陽最盛的時候。走下船，迎面而來的是澄澈的藍天、清透的海水，以及被陽光照亮的島嶼，短暫的旅程卻留下難忘的夏日記憶，彷彿走進遠離日常的世外桃源。

這幅作品捕捉石垣島夏日特有的清透與寧靜。我以鬆弛而富有質感的筆觸，描繪藍天、湛藍海水與濃郁綠意交織的景色，並以光影與細碎浪花，留下陽光落在海岸上的溫度。遠方島嶼靜靜停留在水平線上，海風與潮聲也彷彿隨著畫面緩慢流動。凝視這片藍與光影的交界，彷彿又回到那個八月午後，感受石垣島獨有的自在、純粹與遼闊。

I arrived in Ishigaki Island by cruise ship beneath the brilliant August sun. Stepping ashore, I was greeted by an intensely blue sky, crystal-clear water, and an island glowing in sunlight. Though the visit was brief, the memory of that summer day stayed with me, like a glimpse of a paradise far removed from everyday life.

This work captures the clarity and quiet beauty of summer in Ishigaki. With relaxed, textured brushstrokes, I portray the interplay of blue sky, deep turquoise water, and lush greenery, while light, shadow, and delicate waves evoke the warmth of sunlight along the shore. Distant islands rest quietly on the horizon, creating a sense of calm and balance. Looking into the meeting place of blue and light, I am taken back to that August afternoon, surrounded by sea breeze and gentle waves, feeling the freedom, purity, and spaciousness of an Ishigaki summer.
