這幅 20 × 20 cm 的作品，描繪光線逐漸退去之後，時間與空間慢慢沉靜下來的片刻。畫面以大片留白與濃重的黑色肌理形成鮮明對照。
中央的黑色如夜色緩緩蔓延，沿著畫面向四周滲透、流動、滴落，像暮色一點一點覆蓋原本明亮的空間。左側若隱若現的鮮紅，停留在黑暗與光線交界之間，如夕陽即將消失之前，仍未完全褪去的最後一道光。上方與下方散落的墨痕，像暮色降臨時逐漸遠去的聲音，留下零碎而難以捕捉的痕跡。黑與白、濃與淡、消逝與留存，在小小的畫幅中彼此牽引，形成一種緩慢而幽微的流動。
作品沒有刻意描繪一個具體的夜晚，而是試圖捕捉那個光線即將消失、世界逐漸安靜下來的瞬間。那份孤獨並不尖銳，反而帶著一點溫柔。像是在暮色最深的地方，仍有一絲光，靜靜地留著。
This 20 × 20 cm work captures the moment when light gradually fades, and time and space slowly settle into stillness.
Large areas of white space stand in striking contrast to the dense black texture. At the center, the black spreads like the approaching night, seeping, flowing, and dripping outward across the surface, as though twilight is gradually covering a once-bright space. A subtle trace of vivid red emerges on the left, lingering at the boundary between darkness and light, like the final ray of sunset before it disappears completely.
Scattered marks of ink above and below resemble faint echoes drifting away as twilight falls, leaving behind fragmented traces that are difficult to hold onto. Black and white, density and translucence, disappearance and persistence draw quietly against one another, creating a slow and subtle movement within the small canvas.
The work does not seek to depict a particular night. Instead, it captures that fleeting moment when the light is about to disappear and the world begins to grow quiet. Its sense of solitude is not sharp, but gentle. Like a faint trace of light remaining quietly in the deepest part of twilight.
