這幅作品以沉穩的暗色為基底，凝視創作過程中那些被反覆塗抹、刮擦與刻劃，最終留存於畫面上的痕跡。
畫面中交錯的弧線與橫向刷痕，是顏料在反覆堆疊與刮除之間留下的直接紀錄。
它們沒有刻意設定的象徵，也不指向某個特定的故事，只是單純地存在著，如同生活與記憶走過之後，在時間裡留下細微卻真實的痕跡。
深暗的底色營造出一個安靜的空間，讓一道道被留下的線條慢慢浮現。顏料經過覆蓋、擦拭、刮除與重新堆疊，表面形成不同的厚薄與肌理，也讓畫面產生深淺交錯的層次。這些線條沒有被刻意修正，也沒有被完全掩蓋。
它們保留著創作當下的動作與痕跡，像時間走過之後留下的筆記。當畫面歸於安靜，真正留下來的，便是那些曾經發生過的動作，以及它們在黑暗之中緩慢浮現的軌跡。
Set against a quiet, deep-toned ground, this work focuses on the traces that emerge through the physical process of making, marks created by painting, scraping, layering, and removing.
The intersecting curves and horizontal strokes are direct records of the artist’s gestures. They carry no fixed symbolism and point to no particular story. They simply remain, much like the subtle traces left behind by life and memory as they move through time.
The dark surface creates a restrained space in which these marks can gradually come forward. Layers of paint are covered, wiped away, scraped back, and rebuilt, allowing variations in texture and thickness to shape a sense of depth across the surface.
The lines are neither corrected nor completely concealed. They preserve the movements of the hand and the passage of the creative process, like fragments of a record left behind by time. Once the surface becomes quiet, what remains is the evidence of those gestures, slowly emerging from the darkness as a quiet trace of something that once took place.
